My Diagon Alley
I walked the same alley each morning for over a year.
Then I became aware that the garages of my neighbors, these backyard gatekeepers, each have their own personalities.
They became my companions...
The neighborhood watch.
Mobile Photo Project :: Shot on iPhone 4s with Hipstamatic Disposable app :: 2013
The year my grandfather passed away, I spent much of the holidays outside feeling my grief. It was a beautiful, snowy winter.
Nature is my cathedral.
There is no better place to feel, to heal, and to find peace...

A Damn Fine Cup of Coffee
Being a long-time fan of the series, this shoot was a real thrill, and working with these talented and beautiful Seattle front women made it a breeze. Couldn't have done it without the hospitality and awesome staff at Lost Lake Cafe in Seattle, which is just about the most perfect backdrop for this series.
Mackenzie Mercer of the Young Evils as Shelly Johnson | Jen Ayers of Dream On as Norma Jennings | Aubrey Bramble of Golden Gardens as Nadine Hurley | Emily Westman of Sisters as the Log Lady | and Bryn Santillan of Wishbeard and new band Subdivision as Agent Dale Cooper.
This series first appeared in StackeDD Magazine, and originally ran in the February, 2015 Issue.
Wonder Woman's Day Off:
"Because that unitard isn't gonna wash itself."
Inspired by a Facebook status: I may or may not have just purchased a Wonder Woman bathing suit..." I brought a team of friends together in the summer of 2014, to breathe life into my homage for this badass lady superhero.
Being the first styled shoot I produced from concept to post, I'll always be rather proud of this one. Katie Blackstock as Wonder Woman was a dream to shoot, and this was only the beginning of our collaborative adventures.
In 2015 when I joined the team of contributors at StackeDD Magazine, this essay seemed like a natural fit.
This series first appeared in the inaugural issue of StackeDD Magazine, - January, 2015.
